Not super clear, so look between the exhaust and the tire, there's a crack.
This happened during the winter, don't know when exactly, THAT'S PROBABLY MY WIFE'S FAULT.

It's totaled.
Send me the keys and your address and I'll come remove it for you...

I don't know if it can be fixed, but that's not noticeable really at all, it took me a couple minutes to even see it.
I wouldn't worry about it for a while unless it gets worse.

Umm, you could staple it? Weld it? Buy a new bumper and make the wife pay for it with many dinners? I'm not sure.
I've heard that replacing it seems to be the best/only way to go nowadays.

I could keep the broken one for the winter!

do you think it will work, Roberto ?
That would be cheap and awesome

Can be fixed. If it's done by someone who knows what their doing, you won't even be able to tell. There is a place in my neighborhood that even has mobile bumper repair. Being that low with a body crease right above it will be easy for them to blend the repair too. Usually under $150.

I would like a 2015 gti.
Not sure it would be a sound financial move doe.

150 would be cheaper than the bumper + paint.
I'll check this out thanks

Get some zip ties

I think so. First you should wet a cloth with gasoline or paint thinner, stretch it with both hands, slide it inside the crack and move it on and back, to clean the crack. Than mask the paint on both sides of the crack with adhesive paper tape. Next, drop the superglue on the edge of a piece of paper, and move the glue inside the crack from the back, not to put any exceess glue on the outer, painted surface. Once you're sure that the crack is full of glue, push both lips of the crack from outside, pushing HARD with your thumbs to close the crack. Count to 30 seconds, and relase. At least, that's what I'd do and any any case it cannot worsen the present situation. But superglue saved me a lotta times, in apparently impossible conditions. Dunno how it's your market, but you must buy the ORIGINAL superglue (here it's the Loctite Classic) and forget the gels and the not finger welding other versions.

It cannot get worse... that's what happen when you back over a sidewalk curb, and then move onward.

Yes! Was that also for the many dinners? I like food. :P

I have had decent luck with fiberglass applied to the inside surface. It does not totally hide the blemish/crack but it does prevent it from spreading and getting worse. Takes little time to do.

you need a new bumper...just wait it out until gets worse and then swap the new one on...have the same issue on my car just waited six months until the cracks got bigger and the. Replaced it

yes, easily. drill holes either side. zip tie together. fibreglass or glue or otherwise bond it back together. Cut off zip ties. Sand and bondo. Paint. Done
